Explore the U.S. by Bringing Your E-Rig on These Hiking Trails

The CARTA adventures continue! We’re back with some new sesh spots that may take a bit of effort to get to. If you are an adventurous stoner who loves to go on hikes, these scenic trails are worth the experience. From Arizona to Alaska, we gathered the five best hiking trails you can explore throughout the United States.

Chautauqua Park (Boulder, CO)

The state of Colorado is known for its gorgeous landscapes and outdoor activities. There are plenty of places people can go to experience canoeing, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and even horseback-riding. Chautauqua Park located in Boulder, Colorado is an ideal destination for those who want to ease into the hype of hiking adventures with their CARTA. For example, the Chautauqua Trail offers an easy hiking experience with amazing views of Boulder county. There are also other amenities on the park grounds you can participate in after your sesh such as playing pickleball or tennis.

Smith Rock State Park (Bend, OR)

Smith Rock State Park, located near Bend, OR, offers scenic views and several hiking trails. Besides the infamous hiking experience, Smith Rock also encourages guests to go fishing, rock climbing, or even plan a camping trip on their campgrounds. If you are more of the mellow stoner who likes to observe while getting lifted, the state park boasts an eclectic range of wildlife you can see. So make sure to pack your binoculars and portable dab rig before venturing off to Smith Rock State Park.

South Rim Trail, Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona)

The Grand Canyon is known to be one of the “7 Wonders of the World”. Very few people will ever get to all seven of the Earth’s natural wonders, but the Grand Canyon is one of the most common that Americans tend to visit. That being said, why not witness a breathtaking view of the canyons and experience some of the hiking trails it has to offer? We recommend starting at South Rim Trail. It is one of the easier hiking runs you can experience that offers a spectacular view at the canyon's edge. You may even get to see the Colorado River running through if you visit Lipan Point. Not only will the hike be worth it, but this may be one of the greatest places to ever hit your e-rig.

Yosemite National Park (California)

Yosemite National Park offers a plethora of trails for the more experienced hiker who loves to get stoned from time to time. Since the elevation is so high, we recommend taking it easy on the trails and saving your CARTA sesh for when you feel it is safe. Each trail displays an amazing view of the park and even offers rock climbing in certain areas. If hiking isn’t for you, there are nearly 1,200 square miles of natural scenery to explore that include waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and meadows. Camping and lodging are also welcomed if you are looking to extend your stay.

Nugget Falls Trail (Juneau, AK)

The Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center located in Juneau, Alaska offers various hiking experiences for the average outdoor enthusiast. Most of the trails run along the Mendenhall Glacier and the Tongass National Forest. Sightseeing here is like no other, with wildlife that ranges from bald eagles to black bear cubs, and caves that travel deep into the surrounding mountains. The notorious Nugget Falls Trail runs about 2 miles long, providing some amazing views of a waterfall nearby and the Mendenhall Glacier. It is the perfect sesh spot for you and your CARTA. We recommend visiting in the summer to take advantage of some amazing weather and extended stay periods.
