I am writing this letter to inform you of our CrowdFunding campaign and to lay out my vision for the future of Focus V. There are risks and rewards related to investing into our evolving business. We launched a way for you to own a piece of Focus V through a platform called StartEngine. Allowing your customers to invest in your business is the future - especially for consumer product businesses. Focus V is a company built by its consumer base’s needs & energy–who better to launch into our future with than the people who live & breathe our products. StartEngine also allows for a secondary market trading which means our shareholders will be able to trade shares on their platform in the future.
Before I lay out my vision for Focus V, I want to be clear: there are risks associated with investing in any start up company. There are no guarantees of returns, and it's crucial to only invest money you can afford to lose. While we have been in business for many years and we know how to navigate the cannabis industry, it is impossible to know what the future holds. As many of you are aware, we are currently engaged in a patent dispute with our primary competitor, Puffco. While these challenges can seem daunting, they represent a fight worth fighting—because the hard things are often the most important to do. By confronting this obstacle, we help ensure a competitive landscape for the entire industry which delivers the best outcomes for you, the customers. A competitive market is the engine of innovation that breeds superior products. Imagine a scenario where a single company dominates the entire market: choices would diminish, products would stagnate, and prices could soar. The presence of Focus V ensures a vibrant, competitive marketplace where product diversity thrives and progress is constant.
While it has been a challenging fight, this legal battle has forced us to get stronger. Our brand has come so far in the last three years. Starting in April of 2022 up to today, we launched Intelli-Core®, CARTA 2, SABER, AERIS and MAX. Our foundation is set and it is solid. Our domestic team is strong and we have a strong team overseas. Together, we are a dynamic and powerful force.
What I am most excited about is the future. We believe dabbing technology is still in its infancy and that we will bring many more innovations to the market in the years ahead. We have an exciting lineup of new products in development including more immediate releases such as CARTA Sport and Tracer, as well as concept products and designs for the future that we can not share yet. We really push to give you features you care about. Features like cross compatible atomizers, replacement SABER tips, swappable batteries, and Bluetooth in all our flagship products are unique elements in our product line that set us apart.
The energy around our CrowdFunding has been electric and we remain as motivated as ever to keep delivering devices that redefine the dabbing experience.
