Their adventures revolve around finding some good kush, which eventually leads them to compete in a rock band contest as they perform “Earache My Eye”.

#3. Pineapple Express (2008)

Seth Rogen has always had a thing for Mary Jane, so much so that he decided to write a movie based on its existence. Rogen also stars in the movie, playing one of the lead characters Dale Denton who is your average process server and buddha connoisseur. He visits his plug Saul, played by James Franco, and together they smoke a rare strain known as “Pineapple Express”. During their sesh they witness a corrupt cop and infamous drug lord murder an innocent man, causing them to flee the scene, but a roach is left behind. The felons discover the roach shortly after and decide to hunt down the negligent stoners. This film is filled with chaotic scenes and comedic segments that are worthy of enjoying while taking hits from your e-rig.

#2. Grandma’s Boy (2006)

Potheads and gamers join forces in this unique cinema about a video game tester named Alex and what life is like living under his grandma's roof. Alex, (played by Allen Covert), moves in with grandmother after getting kicked out by his landlord for having no more rent money. He is getting ready to release his own game, but he quickly discovers that his grandma’s chores and roommates are delaying his final touches. A higher up named Samantha (Linda Cardellini) is sent by corporate to oversee the production of a new video game that is supposed to come out soon. Samantha catches Alex’s eye and they both spark interest in each other, but an odd fellow who goes by J.P. (Joel Moore) tries to get in the way of their relationship and competes to steal Alex’s thunder. Although romance is involved, this movie is nowhere near being a romantic comedy. Many sesh circles take place in the film, with lots of familiar faces playing a role on screen. The ganja and video game combo was greatly appreciated in the making of this film.

#1. Dazed and Confused (1993)

It’s 1976 and the last day of school has finally arrived. Juniors turn into seniors and a new crop of freshmen are expected to arrive. The typical hazing, smoking, drinking, partying, and rock & roll you would expect from a group of high school students in the ‘70s are what make this film an instant classic. Many star studded actors got their first role in this film as well such as Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey, Ben Affleck, and Jason London. The drug filled humor and memorable quotes that bring this flick to life are a must see while getting baked.

There were many honorable mentions worth watching that did not make our list such as The Big Lebowski, Friday, Half Baked, and Super Troopers. We hope you enjoy these stoner-comedies as you relax on your lazy day. With your dab rig on deck, some popcorn, and cold pop, it will be impossible to miss out on all the laughs.
