Where It All Began
Focus V did not begin as a product line. It began as an idea. An idea rooted in the belief that concentrate consumption could feel more intuitive, more refined and more personal. Looking back at where we started helps explain why we build the way we do today.
In 2015, we started Focus V in California with a clear purpose. We wanted to rethink how people interact with concentrate devices, removing unnecessary complexity while preserving performance and flavor. From the beginning, our focus was on thoughtful design and dependable results, not excess.
That vision took shape with the release of the original CARTA in 2019. CARTA introduced a new way to enjoy concentrates without relying on traditional setups, marking the first step in what would become a growing ecosystem. It set the foundation for everything that followed.
As our community grew, so did our understanding of how people use our products. In 2021, we introduced SABER, bringing a precision dab knife into the Focus V family. It was a simple addition with meaningful impact, giving users better control, cleaner handling and a more complete experience around concentrates.
In 2022, we reached a major milestone with the launch of CARTA 2. With features like Intelli Core® heating, digital controls and app connectivity, it represented a significant leap forward. CARTA 2 helped expand our presence globally and defined a new standard for smart rigs.
The evolution continued in 2023 with AERIS. Designed for true portability, AERIS delivered powerful performance in a compact form, supported by a modular, swappable battery system. It allowed users to take the Focus V experience beyond the home, without compromise.
By 2024, the combined success of CARTA 2 and AERIS fueled global growth and creative exploration. Collaborations with glass artists introduced custom pieces that gave users new ways to personalize their devices, reinforcing the idea that no two setups, or sessions, need to be the same.
In 2025, we introduced CARTA SPORT as a natural evolution of our ecosystem. Built for everyday use, it emphasized reliability, ease of maintenance and a more approachable experience. With improved battery performance, the removable CARTA CONNECT airpath and full compatibility with CARTA 2 accessories including glass and bubble caps, CARTA SPORT offered continuity and flexibility in a more accessible format.
This stage of our journey reflected a broader shift. With continued support from our community and strategic investment, we focused on refining what we had built, strengthening our platform and making high quality experiences available to more people.

The Why and What’s Next

In 2026, we will introduce CARTA 3, advancing our flagship line with the same focus on performance, control and modular design that defines Focus V. Alongside it, TRACER remains in development as we explore new ways to expand portability within our ecosystem. New accessory lines are also on the way, designed to enhance customization across all Focus V products.
