The Glass Cup is Focus V’s modern celebration of glass artistry. The competition aims to spark creativity & take CARTA & AERIS glass tops to new heights.
The inaugural event honors the core individuals that first ignited both the hash movement & responsible for the E-Rig wave: glassblowers. Our goal is to ensure the glass legacy lives on & provide the Carta Gang with mind-blowing tops.

Participation in The Glass Cup is open to all glass artists ready to elevate their craft. Here’s how to enter:
Submit your application between March 17th and April 30th

Final artists announced May 8th, 2026.
Create & Ship Your Piece by June 30th, 2026.
Private sessions at Focus V HQ, July 1st–7th, 2026.
Online reveal on July 10th, 2026.

Judged by the Best
Twenty distinguished judges, including renowned glass artists, creators, and community leaders will evaluate each piece across four categories. Every entry will be scored out of 100 total points, recognizing precision, creativity, and innovation in glass craftsmanship.
1. Innovation / Technique
Original methods, flair, and technical execution.
2. Functionality & Compatibility
Fit, airflow, and ergonomics. How the glass performs with Focus V devices.
3. Creativity
Creativity, color, and form. The visual and emotional impact.
4. Craftmanship
Build precision, welds, and durability.
The judging process will take place at Focus V HQ in Los Angeles, where each piece will be showcased gallery-style and professionally photographed.

FAQs
Who can enter?
Any glass artist, independent or affiliated, is welcome to apply. The competition is open internationally.
What categories are available?
CARTA Glass Top and AERIS Glass Top.
Can I submit for both CARTA and AERIS?
Yes, artists may apply to both categories, provided each submission is unique.
What’s the prize structure?
$5,000 for each category winner (CARTA and AERIS), plus feature placement and trophy.
How do I ship my piece?
Final instructions will be provided to selected artists in February. All pieces must arrive by March 15, 2026.
Will there be a public event?
No. Judging takes place privately at Focus V HQ, but results will be shared online with full documentation.
When will winners be announced?
Online reveal on July 10th, 2026.
Will be CARTA 3 be compatible?
