CARTA 3 by Focus V: Features, Battery, Price & Release

Focus V CARTA 3 e-rig with Intelli-Core 3 and OLED display

The CARTA 3 is here. Focus V's next-generation e-rig keeps everything people love about CARTA and upgrades nearly everything around it: a new Intelli-Core® 3 atomizer, a larger OLED display, a full silicone shell, 60 dabs per charge, and a completely rebuilt Focus V App. Here's everything you need to know before you shop the CARTA 3.

CARTA 3 release date and price

The CARTA 3 launched on October 21, 2026, at a retail price of $399. It's available in black at launch, with more colors planned for next year.

The Big Three: what's new on CARTA 3

Intelli-Core 3 atomizer. A redesigned, rounded-bottom chamber improves oil distribution, helps preserve terpenes, and reduces reclaim. Upgraded heating delivers even temperatures across the coil, and a new half-turn connection makes installation easier and more secure.

Next-gen OLED display. A bigger, brighter, higher-contrast screen lets you set time and temperature, view your stats, and personalize your rig with themes, images, and animated GIF screensavers.

Extended battery life. The CARTA 3 averages 60 + dabs per charge, nearly triple the CARTA 2, so it keeps up with the whole session.

CARTA 3 battery life

Battery life depends on your settings. In our testing, hotter, longer sessions use more power and cooler, shorter sessions stretch it further. To get the most from every charge, turn on low power mode and turn off Wi-Fi, sound, and LEDs when you don't need them. The CARTA 3 also supports wireless charging, and a USB-C cable and power brick are included.

Easier cleaning and a tougher build

C3 Connect, the removable airpath, pulls right out for quick cleaning and includes a built-in reclaim catch. The full silicone shell gives the CARTA 3 a soft, non-stick grip that wipes clean with isopropyl alcohol, without the paint chipping of earlier models.

The rebuilt Focus V App

The CARTA 3 connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to an all-new Focus V App, with live temperature graphing, dab streaks, social features, themes, and over-the-air firmware updates. A built-in speaker adds audio alerts and feedback on the device itself.
