AERIS Glass FAQs
Upgrading to Focus V AERIS Glass changes more than just the look of your device. Below you’ll find direct answers about airflow, compatibility, durability, and how each AERIS Glass Attachment affects your session so you can choose the setup that fits your style.
Does AERIS come with a Glass Top by default?
No. AERIS is designed as a compact, self-contained device and does not include a glass top out of the box. Adding an AERIS Glass Attachment transforms the experience by introducing extended airflow and, in the case of the Focus V AERIS Glass Bubbler, optional water filtration. It’s a true upgrade in feel, not just a cosmetic addition.
What’s the difference between the AERIS Glass Top and the AERIS Glass Bubbler?
The AERIS Glass Top keeps the profile minimal and direct, delivering clean vapor with minimal resistance while preserving portability. The AERIS Glass Bubbler adds water filtration, cooling vapor and softening the inhale. Both are engineered specifically for AERIS and integrate securely without affecting stability.
Does adding an AERIS Glass Top change performance?
Yes. Because AERIS is originally a compact system, adding an AERIS Glass Top modifies airflow length and vapor cooling. The heating performance stays consistent, but the inhale becomes either more refined or smoother depending on the attachment chosen. It’s a functional upgrade, not just an aesthetic one.
Is the AERIS Glass durable enough for travel?
All AERIS Glass Attachments are made from borosilicate glass for durability and heat resistance. While AERIS itself is highly portable, glass should still be transported with care. Many users pair glass with protective storage when traveling to maintain longevity.
Does the AERIS Glass Attachment affect portability?
The AERIS Glass Attachment adds height and a more traditional glass interface, which slightly changes the device’s footprint. However, it remains significantly more compact than a full-sized electric rig, preserving the portable nature of AERIS while elevating airflow and draw quality.
Can I switch between different AERIS Glass Tops easily?
Yes. The AERIS Glass Top system is designed for quick swaps. Whether you’re moving from a standard Focus V AERIS Glass Tip to a bubbler or replacing a damaged piece, switching is straightforward and does not require tools.
Why upgrade to AERIS Glass instead of using it stock?
Stock AERIS is built for direct, efficient sessions. Adding Focus V AERIS Glass introduces expanded airflow dynamics and optional water conditioning, bringing the experience closer to a traditional glass setup while keeping the compact power of AERIS intact.
Is the Focus V AERIS Glass Bubbler worth it?
For users who prefer cooler, smoother draws, the Focus V AERIS Glass Bubbler delivers a noticeable difference. It’s ideal for longer sessions or higher temperature use, where vapor density benefits from added filtration.
